Punjab’s daughter Lovepreet Kaur has brought glory to the state at the international level. Lovepreet, a resident of village Mundian Kalan in Ludhiana district, won the gold medal in the senior kumite (fighting) category at the 9th World Open Karate Championship held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, on October 31. Lovepreet, who started her sports journey as a hockey player, later adopted karate and achieved this great success with her hard work, dedication and determination. With this achievement, there is a wave of happiness among her family and villagers, while the entire Punjab is proud of her.
