GST and VAT refund should be released – CICU

Ludhiana , June 4 – Today, a meeting was chaired by Sh. Sham Sunder Arora, Hon’ble Minister of Industry & Commerce, Govt. of Punjab to discuss the various issues related to the Industry.

Sr.Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU, and Sh. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU highlighted the following issues:-

GST and VAT refund to be released, Mining to be Restart, Labour issue to be resolved, Fixed charges for Electricity to be removed, Skilled Center to be upgraded, Halwara Airport to be Start, One Time Settlement for old c forms, Export of PPE Kit to be promote and other issues.

Sh. Sham Sunder Arora, Hon’ble Minister of Industry & Commerce, Govt. of Punjab assured that Special trains/ buses will be run to bring back labour in the Industry and other issues related to power, pollution, VAT, c forms, Labour reforms etc will be resolved soon.

Sh. K.K. Bawa, Chairman, Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation (PSIDC). Govt. of Punjab, Sh. Rahul Ahuja, Head CII Punjab, and Sh. G.S Kahlon, Sh. D.S Chawla, Mr. Jaswinder Singh Thukral and other officials were also present in the meeting
