India beat Bangladesh to win U-19 Women’s Asia Cup title

The Indian team has won the U-19 Women’s Asia Cup 2024 title with a brilliant performance. India defeated Bangladesh by 41 runs in the final match played at the Beaumas Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (December 22). In the final match, the Bangladesh team was given a target of 118 runs to win, which they could not chase successfully. The Bangladesh team collapsed for only 76 runs. This tournament has been organized for the first time. In such a situation, the Indian team achieved a historic achievement by winning the title.

Left-arm spinner Ayushi Shukla took the most wickets for the Indian team, with three. Spin bowlers Sonam Yadav and Parunika Sisodia also got two wickets each. VJ Joshita also got one wicket.
