Lucknow Super Giants have broken all previous records by buying Rishabh Pant for 27 crores in the mega auction of IPL 2025 being held in Jeddah. In the same auction, Punjab Kings bought him for Rs 26.75 crore. While Kolkata Knight Riders have surprised everyone by buying Venkatesh Iyer in the auction for 23.75 crores. So far, two sets of marquee players, batsman, all-rounder, wicketkeeper, fast bowler and spinner have been auctioned. However, David Warner, Devdutt Padikkal, Jonny Bairstow remained unsold during this period.
