Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has received a big setback from the Delhi High Court in the cheque bounce case. The court dismissed his petitions while upholding the three-month simple imprisonment sentence awarded by the lower court. Since the sentence in all seven cases will run concurrently, he will have to spend a total of three months in jail. Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 7.35 crore, at the rate of Rs 1.05 crore in each case. This case is related to the financial transactions taken for the film ‘Ata Pata Lapata’ in the year 2010 and the subsequent cheque bounce.
