 Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for an official three-nation visit to Cyprus, Canada and Croatia today, June 15. After Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister will begin his 4-day visit with the Republic of Cyprus for the first time. After this, he will participate in the G7 Summit in Canada and then he will go to Croatia. The Prime Minister will be in Cyprus on June 15-16. After this, he will go to Canada to participate in the G7 on June 16-17 and then reach Croatia on June 18, 2025. After this journey of 27745 km, the Prime Minister will return to India on June 19, 2025.

Prime Minister Modi was invited by Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides to address the business community in Cyprus  . He has left for the capital Nicosia. The Prime Minister will meet President Christodoulides there and address several business leaders in Limassol. Here he will discuss new opportunities in India’s rapidly growing economy. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Modi will be the third Indian Prime Minister to visit Cyprus. Earlier, Achal Bihari Vajpayee and Indira Gandhi have visited Cyprus.

 After Cyprus, Prime  Minister Modi will participate in the G7 Summit to be held in Kananaskis, Alberta province, Canada on 16-17 June 2025. Here, Prime Minister Modi will contribute to the discussion on several global challenges including economic security, climate change, geopolitics and technology and AI. Let us tell you that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney himself had called Prime Minister Modi and invited him for this conference. 

Prime Minister Modi will visit Croatia on 18 June 2025, during his last visit to Croatia. This will be the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister here. The Prime Minister will meet Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković in the capital Zagreb and hold bilateral talks. He will also meet Croatian President Zoran Milanović. The Prime Minister’s visit will also reflect India’s commitment to strengthening ties with its European Union (EU) partners.
