Ludhiana , July 3 – Today, CICU Delegation consisting of S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, Sh. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, Sh. Honey Sethi, Organizing Secretary and Sh. Gautam Malhotra, Vice President, CICU met and welcomes Sh. Varinderpal Singh Saini, for joining as Chief Engineer, PSPCL, Ludhiana.

They also discussed the issues related to the Industry like Capping of Power Tariffs for Industry & Simplification of obtaining Power Connection, Proper Staff in Focal Point Division, Relaxation in Fixed/ Demand charges and Electricity Duty in the Electricity Bills, Waive of fix charges on Power, Waive of Interest on ACD, 50% rebate on night tariff and provide electricity at Rs. 5/- per unit as promised. Mr. Harjit Singh Gill, Deputy Chief Engineer, East Circle was also present on the occasion.

Sh. Varinderpal Singh Saini, Chief Engineer, PSPCL thanked the delegation for the welcome and assured that he will take up the matter with higher authority and try to resolve the issues being faced by the industry.
