CT University student Sneha Ghadami performed brilliantly at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships held in Winnipeg, Canada, winning four gold medals in the junior 76 kg category. Sneha set three new championship records by lifting 190 kg in squat, 120 kg in bench press and 190 kg in deadlift. She also won the overall gold medal by lifting a total of 500 kg in all three events. Sneha, a second-year BA student from West Bengal, said that this international competition has given her valuable experience and she will work harder to perform even better in future tournaments.
