Major changes are going to be implemented in many important financial and administrative rules across the country from July 1, 2026, which will directly impact the daily lives and pockets of crores of people. Under the new rules, the facility of withdrawing EPF amount through UPI may start, due to which PF money will be available in minutes. Along with this, a minimum spending condition will be implemented for HDFC Bank’s Regalia Gold and Diners Club Privilege credit cards to avail free airport lounge facility. Oil companies will review the prices of LPG, CNG and PNG, due to which gas rates may increase or decrease. There will also be a big increase in passport and Tatkal service fees. The Railways may increase the fine for those traveling without a ticket, while the facility of updating details in Aadhaar card will be provided free of cost for the next six months. Apart from this, taxpayers have also been advised to file their returns on time as the last date for filing Income Tax Return (ITR) is approaching. In such a situation, it is very important for every citizen to know all these changes that will come into effect from July 1st so that any inconvenience or additional expenses can be avoided.
