Mehakpreet Kaur and Komalpreet Kaur, the talented daughters who have made Punjab proud in the defence services across the country, were today felicitated by Aman Arora at a special function at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh. Mehakpreet Kaur, belonging to a farming family of village Paprali (Rupnagar), has registered a great achievement by securing the first position across the country in the merit list of Air Force Academy. Similarly, Komalpreet Kaur of village Shahura (Amritsar) has secured the 18th rank at the All India level for admission to the National Defence Academy.
During the function, Aman Arora said that these two daughters are talented daughters of Punjab, who have made not only their families but also the entire state proud with their hard work and dedication. He said that more than 377 students who have prepared from Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute for Girls and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute are serving the country. He said that Punjab is the only state in the country which is running such a special defense preparatory institute for girls.
The success of these daughters will be a source of inspiration for other youth, especially girls, and will further elevate the glory of Punjab in the defense services.
