IND Vs UAE: World champions India defeated UAE by 9 wickets in their first match of Asia Cup cricket. Although a T20 match is of 240 balls, the Indian team won this match in just 106 balls.
India won the toss and elected to bowl first, which saw UAE bowled out for 57 in 13.1 overs (79 balls). After this, they achieved the target in just 4.3 overs (27 balls). The chase, which started with a big six from Abhishek Sharma, was completed with a four from Shubman Gill in the fifth over. The Indian batsmen scored 46 runs through fours. Kuldeep Yadav, who took 4 wickets for 7 runs in the UAE innings, was adjudged the player of the match.
