India vs England 5th test highlights: India won the match by 6 runs by taking 4 wickets on the last day of the Oval Test. Along with this, the team also tied the 5-match Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2-2. Mohammed Siraj turned the tide of the match by taking 5 wickets in the second innings and gave the team a thrilling victory. On the last day of the match, England had to score 35 runs and had 4 wickets remaining. Mohammed Siraj took 3 wickets to seal India’s victory.
The Indian team had set England a target of 374 runs to win the fifth Test match played at The Oval. In reply, Harry Brook and Joe Root brought England close to victory with their centuries, but the Indian bowlers bowled strongly in the last session of the fourth day and then in the first session of the fifth day and defeated England in a thrilling match.

With this impressive victory, captain Shubman Gill has also created history. He has become the third Indian captain to win a Test match at the Oval in London. Before this, Virat Kohli in 2021 and Ajit Wadekar in 1971 had won the match here.

On the fifth day of the Oval Test, India needed 4 wickets to win while England needed 35 runs. As soon as the match started, India took 4 wickets for 29 runs. Siraj, who was the hero of the match, took three out of the four wickets while Krishna got one wicket. Siraj managed to take a total of 9 wickets in the entire match. He also took four wickets in the first innings. While the famous Krishna also played a big role in India’s victory by taking 8 wickets in the match.
