Industrialists meet Textile Minister, seek subsidies on par with other states
Ludhiana, Mar 17, 2025 – Members of several industrial organisations met Giriraj Singh, the Minister of Textiles, Government of India, here to shed light on various issues being faced by them.
The minister had an interaction with the members of Association of Trade and discussions were held to uplift the textile industry.
Giriraj Singh, Minister of Textiles of India visited Ludhiana for the first time after becoming the Textile Minister He was warmly welcomed by Mr. Gurpreet Singh Kahlon,
Board Member MSME and Head IPFC.
In an important meeting held later, Giriraj ji said that new policies will be implemented which will give maximum exposure to the Textile Industry of Ludhiana.
Mr. Gurpreet Singh Kahlon, Head IPFC mentioned that new design inventions are already underway with facilitation from Giriraj Ji. Furthermore IPFC will work on IP, GI, Patent, Trademark and design which shall boost the Textile Industry . Additionally industrialists are bound to benefit when their intellectual property rights will be enhanced and their patents will be protected.
