Suicide attack on Pakistani army post, 17 soldiers martyred

A major suicide attack took place in Pakistan on Wednesday. Terrorists targeted a post in the North-West at 2 pm on Wednesday. 17 jawans were martyred in this suicide attack by terrorists.

Confirming the incident, the Pakistan Army’s media wing said that terrorists hit an explosive-laden vehicle at a checkpoint in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. After this there was a big explosion. In this attack, 17 jawans have died and some others have been injured.

The Pakistani army said in an official statement that a campaign is being conducted to eliminate terrorists in the area. This created fear in the terrorists, due to which they did this heinous act. Criminals will not be spared under any circumstances.

An official of the Pakistani army said that 6 terrorists have been killed in this operation. Although the army did not give details about who was behind the attack, Islamic militant group Hafiz Gul Bahadur claimed responsibility.
