Bomb threat in Mumbai to New York Air India flight, flight landed at Delhi airport

There has been a bomb threat on the Air India flight going from Mumbai to New York. Due to this, the plane had to make an emergency landing at Delhi airport. The flight is being checked in the isolation wing. Meanwhile, all the passengers and crew members present in the plane have been safely evacuated.

 An Air India spokesperson said, “Flight AI119, which took off from Mumbai to JFK on October 14, received a special security alert and was diverted to Delhi on the instructions of the government’s security regulatory committee. All passengers have disembarked and are at the Delhi airport terminal.”  He said, Air India is committed to the safety of its passengers and crew and gives it top priority. According to information, this threat has been given to Air India through social media. There was a risk of a bomb in the flight on X. After this, the plane was diverted to Delhi. There were 239 passengers on board and the plane will be re-launched only after at least 4 to 5 hours of inspection.
