FOUR PRIVATE HOSPITALS START COVID TREATMENT IN LAST 3 DAYS IN LUDHIANA: DEPUTY COMMISSIONER

Ludhiana, August 12: Due to the persistent efforts of District Administration, four private hospitals have started Covid care centres in their premises in the last three days time. Today, the management of Shri Raghunath Hospital in Aggar Nagar area of city have started a 10-bedded Covid care centre in their premises.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal and Commissioner of Police Mr Rakesh Kumar Agrawal today visited the premises of Shri Raghunath Hospital and thanked the management for starting this Covid Care Centre in their premises.
The other three private hospitals that started Covid Care Centres in their premises include a 25-bedded centre at Verma Super Speciality Hospital near DMCH, 10-bedded centre at Arora Neuro Centre on Mall Road, here and a 25-bedded “IMA Ludhiana Covid Care Centre” at the Lord Mahavira Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Hambran Road, here.
Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma assured the residents that there is no shortage of beds for Covid treatment in district Ludhiana. He said that people should not panic and check the status of vacant beds through mobile app “HBMS Punjab” or on official web links “https://ludhiana.nic.in/
Commissioner of Police Mr Rakesh Kumar Agrawal urged managements of other private hospitals to also come forward and set up Covid care centres in their premises so that they can make real service towards the society during today’s testing times.
ADC (Development)-cum-Nodal Officer Covid Mr Sandeep Kumar was also present on the occasion.
