The ICC has released the schedule for the 2027 One-Day Cricket World Cup. According to the released schedule, the Indian team will start its campaign on October 7 against defending champions Australia in Cape Town. This will be followed by the much-talked-about match between India and Pakistan at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on October 10. India will also face Afghanistan on October 14 in the group stage, a qualifier on October 17 and co-host Zimbabwe on October 24. Apart from this, if India and Pakistan qualify for the Super 7 stage, the two teams can face each other once again in Cape Town on November 7. It has been mentioned that the first semi-final of the tournament will be played on November 17, the second semi-final on November 18 and the final on November 21 in Johannesburg. This World Cup will be a center of special interest for cricket lovers, especially the match between India and Pakistan.
