The Ram Mandir Trust has selected retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra of the Indian Air Force as its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mishra has a long and experienced military career and had commanded the Western Air Command during ‘Operation Sindoor’. During his career of over 38 years, he has flown over 3,000 hours and gained experience in 18 types of fighter aircraft, transport aircraft and helicopters. He was also part of the team that used laser-guided bombs with Mirage-2000 aircraft during the Kargil War. 5,585 applications were received for the post of CEO of the Ram Mandir Trust, out of which Mishra was selected after several stages of AI-based screening, evaluation and interview. The trust had prepared a 600-point evaluation framework for the selection of the CEO, after which the candidates were shortlisted and the final selection was made.
