The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition challenging the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) approval for the renovation and expansion of actor Shah Rukh Khan’s beachfront bungalow ‘Mannat’ in Bandra, Mumbai. A bench headed by Chief Justice Surya Kant said that there are serious doubts about the authenticity of the petition. The petition was filed by activist Santosh Dandkar, challenging the National Green Tribunal (NGT) decision that upheld the approval given by the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) for the renovation of ‘Mannat’. This decision of the Supreme Court has given a big relief to Shah Rukh Khan.
