Ahead of the upcoming municipal and assembly elections, an important coordination has emerged in Punjab politics. Rashtriya Kranti Party (Ambedkar) has announced full support to Shiromani Akali Dal. The party’s national president Shingara Singh Kalyan met Sukhbir Singh Badal along with his core committee and assured all kinds of support during the elections. Hoshiarpur Halka Incharge Sanjeev Talwar played a key role in making this political coordination successful.
On this occasion, Shingara Singh Kalyan said that the society can never forget the historic work done by late Parkash Singh Badal for the Scheduled Castes and especially for the Valmiki community. He said that this support given to the Akali Dal is a political tribute to the services of Mr. Badal. He also demanded special efforts in the future for the social and political upliftment of the Majbi Singh community.
On the other hand, Sukhbir Singh Badal welcomed this support and said that Shiromani Akali Dal has always respected every religion and class. He said that this support received on the occasion of the completion of 10 years of Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal in Amritsar will give further strength to the party for social service. On this occasion, former MLAs N.K. Sharma, Rajinder Atwal, Deepak Ghai, Vikas Hans and many leaders and workers of the party were also present.
