In a major relief to the industry, Punjab Cabinet Minister Mr. Arora announced that the state government has approved the industry’s very first demand. He confirmed that there will be no changes in the benefits provided under the Invest Punjab 2017 Expansion Policy.
Minister Arora further clarified that the industry will not be required to return the previously received subsidies under Electricity Duty (ED) and Infrastructure Development Fund (IDF) taxes.
This move is being seen as a significant step toward promoting industrial growth in Punjab. The industrial community has welcomed the decision and praised the government for creating a reliable and investment-friendly environment.
