Strict action has been taken in the land scam case in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. In the Municipal Corporation land scam, the District Magistrate, Deputy District Magistrate and the Commissioner of Haridwar Corporation have been suspended with immediate effect. This action of the Pushkar Singh Dhami government has created a stir among the officials.

Actually, this case is related to Haridwar Municipal Corporation in which a land which is said to be worth Rs 14 crores was purchased for Rs 54 crores. After the complaint, an investigation was conducted on the orders of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The investigation of this matter was conducted by Uttarakhand Government Secretary Ranveer Chauhan. Chauhan himself went to Haridwar and investigated the matter and submitted a 100-page report to the government, after which this action has been taken.
Let us tell you that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a big and historic action on the much-discussed Haridwar Municipal Corporation land scam in Uttarakhand. The government has suspended a total of 12 officers, including two IAS and one PCS officer, in this case. For the first time, the ruling government in the state has taken such strict action against the top officials sitting in its system. Now the investigation of this matter has been handed over to the Vigilance Department.
