After exposing this drugs network, Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar held a press conference. He said- “Amritsar Police has recovered 5.2 kg heroin. We have arrested three people. The head of the gang, Mandeep Kaur, used to run her drug network by posing as a police officer. She had connections with many drug smugglers in Pakistan and was sending drugs to our border with the help of drones. She was working with two other people in the Chheharta area. There is another accused, but we are not revealing his name at the moment.”
