MP Sanjeev Arora Applauded for His Dedication and Development Efforts in Ludhiana

Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora today announced a grant of Rs.15 lakh for the development of a state-of-the-art indoor sports stadium at GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar. The announcement was made during the 72nd Annual Athletics Meet of the college, where Arora praised the institution’s remarkable achievements in both academics and sports.

Lauding the college’s contribution to sports, Arora highlighted that it has produced five Olympians along with numerous international, national, state, district, and university-level athletes. He expressed his admiration for the extensive sports infrastructure of the college, which includes sports grounds, astroturf, and athletic tracks, stating that the college is a matter of pride for the state and the nation.

Encouraging the youth to stay in India and contribute to the nation’s growth, Arora advised them not to dream of going abroad but to explore the vast career opportunities available in the country.

The college governing council president, Manjit Singh Gill, praised Arora’s dedication as a politician and his significant contribution to the development of the city. He also acknowledged Arora’s efforts in facilitating the upcoming commencement of flights from Halwara Airport, expected within the next 2-3 months.

On the occasion, Arora distributed medals to the winners.
