Elon Musk’s Starship rocket explodes in the sky minutes after launch

Elon Musk’s SpaceX suffered another setback on Thursday during the eighth test flight of its mega-rocket Starship. The reason: Contact with the Starship was lost just minutes after launch. This caused the engines to shut down, as shown in the company’s live stream. The Starship rocket then exploded in the sky.

Minutes later, several videos on social media showed fireball-like debris from the spacecraft in the sky near South Florida and the Bahamas. However, the company has not declared the mission a complete failure. The company says that the Super Heavy Booster worked successfully during this launch and SpaceX received important data.
