4 smugglers arrested with heroin worth Rs 35 crore in Amritsar, the drug came from Pakistan via drone!

Amritsar Police has arrested 4 youths in a major operation and recovered 5 kg heroin. The value of this consignment in the international market is estimated to be around Rs 35 crore. The police had received a confidential information, on the basis of which a blockade was made and these youths were arrested. Police say that action is being taken in the case.

According to Police Commissioner Gurpreet Bhullar, this consignment of heroin was sent to India from Pakistan through a drone. The police already suspected the activities of this network, after which a blockade was made in the area with the help of security agencies. During this, the accused were caught from Mahal Chowk. All the four arrested accused are said to be part of a drug smuggling network.
