The Bharat Mandapam World Book Fair will run from tomorrow, February 1st, to February 9th in Delhi, President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate it.

President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate the World Book Fair 2025 on February 1. This fair, organized by the National Book Trust under the Union Ministry of Education, will continue till February 9. Apart from India, writers and speakers from 50 countries including France, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Russia will participate in the fair.

The book fair to be held at Bharat Mandapam will be bigger and better than ever. It will celebrate literature, culture and festivals with the best books from around the world. National Book Trust Chairman Milind Sudhakar Marathe and Director Yuvraj Malik said that the theme statement of this year’s World Book Fair “We, the people of India” is the opening words of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. 

The theme pavilion of the book fair specifically reflects the celebration of 75 years of the Republic of India (1950-2025). The National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, has for the first time inscribed 13 Indian languages ​​in the fair logo in its 75th year. With a legacy of over 52 years, the National Book Trust is one of the largest and most visited literary fairs in the world. From February 1 to 9, visitors will be able to experience the world of books from 11 am to 8 pm.
