VSSL hands over Rs 4 lakh for Khel Prosahan -Rs 8.5 lakh for providing free limbs to poor and needy people

VSSL under its CSR initiative Project Swasth Samaj, handed over Rs 8.5 Lac for providing free limbs to poor and needy people in Punjab to the Centre of Artifical Limbs Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust.

Vardhman Special Steels limited (VSSL) in association with district administration and Ludhiana cares today under it’s Sports initiative project Khel Prosahan today came forward to promote sports by opening of four sports centres at Ludhiana rural areas in which basket ball game shall be taught to children and youngsters. The project is supported by VSSL for providing best coaches for these centres and all its expenses for sports equipment. The cheque of Rs 4 lac for year 2024-25 was handed over by Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal.

The DC Jorwal thanked VSSL vice chairman VSSL Sachit Jain for supporting such a good initiative under its CSR mission.

Head CSR VSSL Amit Dhawan, Dr Beri and Harpreet Soin from Ludhiana Cares thanked Deputy Commissioner for his support.

In another initiative, VSSL under its CSR initiative Project Swasth Samaj, handed over Rs 8.5 Lac for providing free limbs to poor and needy people in Punjab to the Centre of Artifical Limbs Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust. The cheque was handed over by Deputy Commissioner Jitendar Jorwal along with Mr Amit Dhawan Head CSR Vardhman Special Steels.

Dhawan shared that VSSL Vice Chairman Sachit Jain is committed for supporting this cause of Artificial limbs with annual support of Rs 30 lac ler Annum for five years and in this year 1950 people have already got free limbs through this support. Jorwal expressed his sincere thanks to Sachit Jain.
