How was Hardeep Singh Nijjar murdered?
Nijjar was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen near the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Nijjar was also the head of this gurdwara. He was in his car in the parking lot outside the gurdwara. During this time, the perpetrators started firing at him. Nijjar did not even have time to get out of the car and he died on the spot.
Later, the Canadian police arrested four Punjabi youths in this case, although Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau blamed Indian agents for Nijjar’s murder, after which diplomatic relations between the two countries have deteriorated. However, now questions are being raised on the government after the accused was granted bail.
