Ludhiana Police arrests drug smuggler with 5 kg 10 grams heroin

Ludhiana Police has arrested a smuggler and recovered 5 kg 10 grams heroin from his possession. In this case, the police have registered a case against Kanwarpal Singh, a resident of Ashok Nagar Khajur Chowk Salem Tabri, under the sections of the NDPS Act and started investigation. Meanwhile, the police are continuously conducting raids to arrest the other accomplice of the accused.

Giving information, DCP Shubham Agarwal said that the accused was addicted to drinking Chitta. A person used to bring him heroin two kilometers ahead of Wagah border. After that, he used to supply heroin to different places. The police arrested the accused Kavarpal near Khajur Chowk in Salem Tabri area. During which 210 grams of heroin was recovered from him. During interrogation, he told that more heroin was kept in his house.

The police recovered four kg 755 grams of heroin during a search of the accused’s house. The police said that the price of this heroin is crores of rupees in the international market. They said that the police are investigating this case thoroughly. Where was the heroin being supplied by him and who are his other accomplices. The police will investigate this case and make revelations soon.
