Strict warning issued to education department employees, teachers who go on strike without leave will not be paid

The state government has issued a stern warning to the employees of the education department. The warning issued to the teachers has said that the teachers who are participating in the ongoing agitation and leaving their duties without leave will not be paid their salaries. An order issued by the Punjab School Education Secretary has said that the ‘no work, no salary’ rule will be applicable on any employee found absent without official leave. The order has expressed concern over the disruption of students’ studies and the functioning of the head office, field office and schools due to the absence of employees.
