CM Mamata Banerjee’s letter to PM Modi, wrote – Every day 90 rape cases are reported, make strict laws

Kolkata rape-murder case:West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (August 22) regarding the Kolkata rape-murder case. Mamata wrote in the letter to the PM that 90 cases of rape are reported every day in the country. Strict laws should be made to prevent this. Meanwhile, the Sealdah Court has allowed the CBI to conduct a polygraph test on Sandeep Ghosh, the former principal of the medical college.

On August 9, a trainee doctor was raped and murdered at the RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. The police have arrested the main accused Sanjay Roy. Doctors across the country are opposing it.
