The Indian hockey team has created history. Team India, captained by Harmanpreet Singh, has won the bronze medal in Paris Olympics 2024. Team India has defeated Spain 2-1.

Harmanpreet Singh scored both the goals for India. This match was very special for Team India’s veteran goalkeeper P. Sreejesh. This is the last match of his career. Team India has got this fourth medal in Paris Olympics. Earlier, it has got 3 medals in shooting.

In the first quarter, both the teams were seen giving tough competition to each other. But not a single goal was scored. But Spain won in the second quarter. Marc Miralles scored a goal for them in the 18th minute. However, Spain’s happiness did not last long. Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh showed his strength and scored a goal for India. In this way, the teams of India and Spain remained tied at 1-1 till the end of the second quarter.

Team India looked very aggressive during the third quarter. India scored a goal at the beginning of the third quarter. Harmanpreet took advantage of a penalty corner in the 33rd minute and scored a goal. Immediately after this, Abhishek was shown green guard in the 35th minute.
