Huge footfall witnessed at Expo on Sunday

Ludhiana, March 13: Showcasing technologies and manufacturing solutions for the promotion of micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Mach Auto Expo 2022 is receiving magnificent response from the industrialists, students and budding entrepreneurs.

On Sunday, a heavy footfall of visitors was recorded on the third day of the Expo which is being organised at Ludhiana Exhibition Centre, GT Road, Sahnewal. The four-day Expo will conclude on Monday.

According to the visitors, especially students of different colleges, the live demonstration of a huge variety of machinery is quite helpful for them to understand the working of machines in depth. Even the exhibitors expressed that the live demo of machines always helps in attracting more customers.

“Displaying machines just on posters and guide book do not put a great impression on customers but when we display the machine and give a live demonstration, it not only appeals the customers but also helps the exhibitors to make customers thoroughly analyze the working of a machine,” said exhibitor from Coimbatore based Laxmi Machine Work Limited which were exhibiting CNC machines.

The exhibitor said that Laxmi Machine Work is participating in an exhibition in Punjab for the first time as the company believes that the Industry sector will grow in coming days in this state.

In the Mach Auto Expo 2022, the companies from across India are exhibiting their latest technologies and among these CNC and laser cutting machines are one of the main attractions.

A Ludhiana based firm Jaewoo Machines was also participating in the exhibition with their products which include CNC, VMC and HMC machines which helps in cutting the critical components and that too with accuracy.

Besides, Rajasthan based Krishna Shot Blasting and Painting System exhibited the technology being used in the metal industry to remove debris and irregularities from concrete, metal and other industrial surfaces.

While Delhi based Truemet company displayed machines being used for checking components of the material such as hardness of a metal, tensile strength etc.

The Mach Expo is being organized by ‘Udan Media and Communications Pvt. Ltd.’ powered by Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), in association with Association of Ludhiana Machine Tool Industries (ALMTI) and supported by Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA). There are exhibitors from across the country displaying 10,000 products and services and 850+ live machinery.
