Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Chhattisgarh: Projects worth Rs 33,700 crore inaugurated, know what was said

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh on Sunday (March 30). Here he inaugurated a project worth Rs 33,700 crore. During this, he addressed the people in Bilaspur. In his address, the Prime Minister congratulated the people of Chhattisgarh for the development work and said that they are moving fast to bring the benefits of development to every person. He said that on this occasion three lakh poor families of Chhattisgarh are entering their new houses. Here he got an opportunity to meet the beneficiaries. During this time, he realized that the poor families were not able to control their happiness after getting a new house.

The Prime Minister said, “We are committed to fulfilling every promise made to the people of Chhattisgarh. It is a privilege for me to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate projects worth thousands of crores of rupees in Bilaspur on the first day of Navratri.” The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several projects before addressing a public meeting in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. He also flagged off the MEMU train service via Mandir Hasaud on the Abhanpur-Raipur section.

The Prime Minister said, “Today is the first Navratri and Chhattisgarh is the land of Mata Mahamaya. It is also the motherland of Mata Kaushalya. In such a situation, these nine days dedicated to Maa Shakti are very special for Chhattisgarh and it is my fortune that I have reached here on the first day of Navratri.” He said, “A short while ago, the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 33,700 crore has been laid and inaugurated. This includes houses for the poor, schools, roads, railways, electricity, gas pipelines. All these projects will provide facilities to the people of Chhattisgarh. Many congratulations to you all for this development work.”
