CICU appreciated the decision of PPCB by Eases clearance Norms to help MSME

Ludhiana , July 25 – Sr. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President & Sh. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICUin a joint statement said that Punjab Pollution Control Board extended the validity of consent for operation, Authorization, Registration and any other mandatory regulatory clearances has been extended up to March 31, 2021, in view of Corona Crisis.

In order to ensure the participatory regulation compliances of environmental regulations, the industry which were operating without the consent of the Board have been given up the time up to Dec 31, 2020 to apply for obtaining the clearances under the Voluntary Disclosure Scheme.

Sh. Honey Sethi, Organizing Secretary, CICU said that the relief from other Govt. department must help the industry in this hard time by easing the Procedurment and extend deadlines. It will encourage the Investment in the State and save the Industry.

 

CICU thanked Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Hon’ble Chief Secretary, Chairman PPCB and Member Secretary PPCB Er. Krunesh Garg for helping the MSMEs by easing clearance Norms of PPCB.
