A dispute has arisen between India and Pakistan over the Asian Champions Trophy 2026. Pakistan has refused to come to India for the tournament, citing the current sensitive situation between India and Pakistan. The Pakistan Hockey Federation has demanded that the Asian Hockey Federation hold the tournament in another country or hold its matches outside India. On the other hand, Hockey India Secretary General and AHF Vice President Bhola Nath Singh has rejected this demand and said that there will be no change in the venue of the tournament and if Pakistan wants to participate in the competition, it will have to come to India. The tournament is to be held in Mohali and Jalandhar from October 27 to November 5. The special thing is that the India-Pakistan match is to be played in Jalandhar on November 1. Teams from India, Pakistan, South Korea, Malaysia, China and Japan will participate in the tournament, while Oman and Bangladesh have been kept as reserve teams. Now everyone’s eyes are on what the final decision is taken by Pakistan.
