Taking a major step towards strengthening its organisation, the Congress party has appointed new AICC in-charges for Haryana, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh. These appointments have been implemented with immediate effect after the approval of party president Mallikarjun Kharge. He said that the party has appointed senior leader Sanjay Dutt as in-charge for Haryana, Lalji Desai as in-charge for Odisha and Rajendra Pal Gautam as in-charge for Uttar Pradesh. The new in-charges have been entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the organisational structure in the respective states, accelerating the party’s activities and preparing a strong strategy for the upcoming political challenges. The Congress hopes that these changes will play a key role in giving new strength and political momentum to the party in the states.
