Virat Kohli out of ODI series against Afghanistan, big blow to Team India

The Indian cricket team has suffered a major setback ahead of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan. Virat Kohli has been ruled out of the series due to a hamstring injury. According to media reports, due to Kohli’s injury, he will not be able to participate in this series, which is considered important for the preparations for the 2027 ODI World Cup. However, no official confirmation has been made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India yet. The matches of this series, starting from June 13, will be played in Dharamsala, Lucknow and Chennai, where Shubman Gill will captain the team. Along with this, wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan has got a chance to return to the ODI team after three years.
