All India Mahila Congress has taken an important decision to strengthen the organization in Punjab. Party president Alka Lamba has appointed Mohali Municipal Councilor Baljit Kaur as the working president of Punjab State Mahila Congress. This responsibility has been entrusted to her with immediate effect and she will work in this post till the appointment of a new permanent president.
According to official orders, this step has been taken to make the organization stronger and more active. The information about this appointment has also been sent to senior Congress leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal and Bhupesh Baghel.
