The Trump administration is continuously issuing strict orders regarding immigrants. Now it has become even more difficult to get a US visa. In this regard, the US Embassy in India has clarified that the investigation continues even after the visa is granted. If a person does not comply with US laws and immigration rules, his visa will be cancelled and he will be deported from the country.
The US Embassy in India posted on social media platform X and wrote that US visa screening does not stop after a visa is issued. We continuously screen visa holders to ensure they are complying with all US laws and immigration regulations, and if they do not, we will cancel their visas and deport them.
In addition, the person who has applied for the visa will also have to provide their social media information. This step has been taken to prevent illegal entry. Visa applicants are advised to be careful and follow all the rules. Just a few days ago, the US Embassy announced that applicants must disclose their usernames or handles of every social media platform used in the last five years.
