Amanpreet Singh alias Mahabali Shera, a wrestler from Ferozepur, Punjab, registered a historic victory by knocking out former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Hager with a single powerful slap in the third round of the Power Slap 21 event held in Las Vegas. Hager was ahead in the first two rounds, but Shera made a spectacular comeback and knocked Hager to the ground in just two seconds with his powerful slap, after which the referee declared Shera the winner on the basis of knockout. After the victory, Shera celebrated in a spirited manner on stage and raised the pride of the country by waving the tricolor flag. This victory of Mahabali Shera, who made his mark on big platforms like TNA, WWE NXT and OVW, became a proud moment for Indian sports lovers.
