DSP Gurmukh Singh Cheema, who was involved in the NDPS (drug trafficking) case, has got a big relief from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The High Court, while quashing the charges framed against him, said that there is no concrete evidence on record to justify prosecuting him. The court of Justice N.S. Shekhawat set aside the orders of the Ludhiana special court to frame charges under Section 58 of the NDPS Act. This decision of the court has given a big legal relief to DSP Cheema.
