Amritsar Police gets major success in 2 cases against drugs; 4 people arrested with 112 grams of cocaine, 1 kg of heroin and drug money worth Rs 08 lakh

Amritsar Police, which is running a campaign against drugs, has achieved great success. In two separate cases, the police have recovered 112 grams of cocaine, 1 kilogram of heroin and Rs 8.10 lakh in drug money.
In the first case, the police have arrested three persons including a Nigerian national. 112 grams of cocaine have been recovered from them. The police said that a person from Nazar had come to India for the treatment of his child and later he started living in Delhi and from Delhi he started doing cocaine supply business. In his link, two youths from Amritsar came who were arrested by the police and the Nigerian person has also been arrested.
The police said that the places from where they used to supply cocaine are being investigated. In the second case, the police arrested Ravi Kumar alias Jaggu from whom one kilogram of heroin and Rs 8.10 lakh in cash (drug money) were seized. According to police officials, this amount was to be sent to Pakistan via Dubai.
The police officer said that a case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act and more arrests are expected in the coming days. This action is proving to be a major milestone in the ongoing campaign against drug peddlers.
