New Delhi, June 14, 2025 -Today, at the Governing Council meeting held at PHD House , the CAPSI in association with ASIS signed a significant MOU with the Directorate of Civil Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs. This strategic partnership aims to enhance collaboration in the fields of Civil Defence and emergency management across the nation.
The MOU was signed in the presence of Sh Vivek Srivastava IPS Director General of Civil Defence, Sh Umesh Sharma ADG , Sh Sandeep Krishnan ADG , Lt Gen Ashok Shivane Sh Bhagwan Shanker IAS ( R) Sh Mahesh Singh Chairman ASIS – Delhi Sh VV Katti President CAPSI Sh Mahesh Sharma Secretary General and members of the Governing Council who gathered to discuss the future of private security and civil defense mechanisms in India. This collaboration seeks to leverage the strengths of three organizations to train 10 million private security guards and employee working in corporate to secure themselves and also citizens in the event of war or similar situations .
