ਖੰਨ (ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ), 30 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ – ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਦਾਣਾ ਮੰਡੀ ਖੰਨਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ-ਕਮ-ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ, ਫੂਡ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਐਫ.ਸੀ.ਆਈ.) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਸ਼ੂਤੋਸ਼ ਅਗਨੀਹੋਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਣਕ ਦੇ ਖਰੀਦ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਿ਼ਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਖਰੀਦ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਤੇ ਤਸੱਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਫੂਡ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਐਫ.ਸੀ.ਆਈ) ਦੇ ਜਰਨਲ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ (ਜੀ.ਐਮ) ਬੀ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਨਿਵਾਸਨ, ਫੂਡ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ-ਕਮ-ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ, ਫੂਡ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਐਫ.ਸੀ.ਆਈ.) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਸ਼ੂਤੋਸ਼ ਅਗਨੀਹੋਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਐਫ.ਸੀ.ਆਈ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਐਮ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਉਹ ਖੰਨਾ ਮੰਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁੱਜੇ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ, ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆੜਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਲਿਫਟਿੰਗ ਨਾਲੋ-ਨਾਲ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ।

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਗਨੀਹੋਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆ ਅਨਾਜ਼ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਖਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਣਕ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ-ਅੰਦਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਕਣਕ ਦਾ ਝਾੜ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਵਧੀਆ ਢੰਗ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਖੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਆੜ੍ਹਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਲਰ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਿਕ ਸੋਚ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ  ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸ਼ਿਖਾ ਭਗਤ, ਉਪ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟੇ੍ਰਟ ਖੰਨਾ ਡਾ. ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ, ਜਿ਼ਲ੍ਹਾ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕੰਟਰੋਲਰ (ਪੂਰਬੀ) ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸਿਫਾਲੀ ਚੋਪੜਾ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੰਡੀ ਅਫਸਰ ਰਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਆੜਤੀਆ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਖੰਨਾ ਹਰਬੰਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੋਸ਼ਾ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ਼ੈਲਰ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਖੰਨਾ ਗੁਰਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

Khanna (Ludhiana), April 30,

Food Corporation of India (FCI) Chairman-cum-Managing Director Ashutosh Agnihotri visited Asia’s largest grain market on Wednesday evening to review wheat procurement operations and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made by the district administration.

FCI General Manager B. Srinivasan and Punjab Food Supply Department Director Varinder Kumar Sharma were also accompanied by the Chairman.

During his visit to Khanna market, Agnihotri interacted with farmers and commission agents, discussing wheat arrivals and procurement processes. He instructed FCI officials to ensure timely lifting of the procured stock. He also noted that the Punjab government has made robust arrangements for wheat procurement across all grain markets in the state. He added that payments for procured wheat are being transferred to farmers’ bank accounts within 24 hours.

Congratulating the farmers, he remarked that this year’s wheat yield has been excellent. He thanked everyone involved in the procurement process, stating that they are performing their duties efficiently.

While interacting with Khanna’s commission agents and sheller associations, the Chairman assured them that their concerns would be addressed positively. He added that the government’s doors are always open to resolve any remaining issues.

On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Khanna) Shikha Bhagat, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Khanna) Dr. Baljinder Singh Dhillon, District Food Supply Controller (East) Shifali Chopra, District Mandi Officer Ramandeep Singh, President of Khanna Arhtyia Association Harbans Singh Rosha, President of Khanna Sheller Association Gurdial Singh, along with officials from various departments were also present.
