Earthquake tremors in Myanmar and Thailand, 7.7 magnitude, flyover collapses

The earth shook with strong earthquake tremors in Myanmar on Friday. These earthquakes were so powerful that their tremors were also felt in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok. The magnitude of the earthquake was 7.7 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was Sagaing, Myanmar. The famous Awa Bridge built on the Irrawaddy River in Mandalay, Myanmar collapsed due to the earthquake tremors. 

According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km below the ground in Sagaing, Myanmar. Its tremors were felt in the northeastern Indian states of Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland. The tremors were so strong that people came out of their homes.
