Supreme Court slams Punjab government: This has become a daily drama.

The Supreme Court on Monday strongly criticized the Punjab government and directed the state’s Advocate General to ensure the presence of government lawyers in court. The Supreme Court expressed displeasure over the absence of Punjab government lawyers and said that the state’s panel lawyers are not appearing despite being issued notices.

 The Supreme Court made a strong comment and said that this has become a daily drama. In fact, the bench of Justices J.K. Maheshwari and Arvind Kumar made this observation while hearing the Punjab government’s petition challenging the bail granted to Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on August 10, 2022.
