MP Arora holds meeting regarding traffic with CP Chahal; Announces Rs.10 Lakhs for Traffic cctv cameras.

Sanjeev Arora, Member Rajya Sabha, held a meeting with Kuldeep Singh Chahal, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana on Tuesday.

During this meeting, Arora discussed the problems of increasing vehicular traffic. He opined to regulate the traffic more smoothly and increase the deployment of force in the Traffic Wing.

On the occasion, Arora announced funds of Rs. 10 lakhs out of MPLAD for the installation of more CCTV Cameras and road dividers in the city.

Also, additional force is being requested from the state pool for managing traffic more effectively. Special attention will be paid during school timings.

The Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana said that in order to run the traffic more smoothly, the time has been fixed for the movement of heavy vehicles within the city. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Ludhiana, has been instructed to re-examine the high traffic areas in the city and to manage the traffic smoothly.
