Drugs worth 7 crore recovered in Amritsar: Smuggler arrested, bike and phone recovered, arrested by blockade

Amritsar Rural Police has arrested a drug smuggler, from whom one kg of heroin has been recovered. The price of which is being said to be Rs 7 crore. When the accused was going to supply heroin, the police caught him. The police are interrogating him and trying to trace his links with drug traffickers.

According to the instructions of Satinder Singh IPS, DIG Border Range and SSP Charanjit Singh IPS, police station Gharun under the supervision of Harinder Singh Gill SPD and Lakhwinder Singh Klar PPS DSP cordoned off the area. During the blockade, the police arrested Mangal Singh alias Baba Manga, a resident of Amritsar.

During the search, one kilo of heroin, a motorcycle with a number and a mobile phone were recovered from the accused. The international value of the heroin recovered from the accused is Rs 7 crore. A case has been registered against the accused in the Gharinda police station. The property of the accused will also be checked and if it is black money property then it will also be frozen.
